The Nystatiszna Intelligence Bureau, known informally as the NIB, is a civilian Intelligence agency, serving both domestic and foreign for the Republic of Nystatiszna. Officially tasked with gathering, processing, and analyzing national security information from around the country & the world, primarily through the use of human intelligence, interrogation and alternative information gathering methods such as social media scraping. The Bureau primarily focused on providing intelligence for the president and senate with it’s secondary objective of law enforcement.

The NIB acts as a law enforcement agency and as a overseas/domestic intelligence gathering agency. The agency authorized by law to carry out and oversee covert action at the behest of the President and dictator of NIB. It exerts internal political influence through its tactical divisions, such as the Special Activities Center. It has done many things to insure the security of the nation including torture, stalking, false-flag terrorist attacks, and assassinations of activists.

Since the 1960s2015 the NIBBureau has been organizedplaced under control the President Office.

The NIB has increasingly expanded its role, including covert paramilitary operations and industrial heists. One of its newest divisions, the Information Operations Center (IOC), acts as a cyber-warfare department and social media troll farm. However the largest division of NIB is the Counterterrorism and Intelligence (C.I) which is under joint command of the military and NIB.
