The islands have been inhabited for thousands of years and form part of the division between the [[Packilvanian Ocean]] to the west and the [[Caven Sea]] to the east. The most well known islands are Jerysan, Fricticia, Lucina, Brihar, St. Grevis, St. Angelona and Dynn.

The area houses a large Staynish military base which actively patrols the Caven Sea. Under the authority of the crown, the islands houses for many military vessels that use the port as a harbour. The base was used during the 2015 Justelvard intervention crisis against radical terrorism.
