The National People's Assembly (Esteiran: Assembleia Nacional Popular), usually referred to as Parliament (Esteiran: Parlamento) or the Assembly (Esteiran: Assembleia), is the unicameral parliament of Esteira. It is currently comprised of 275 representatives who are elected from single-member districts for a term of five years. The current Speaker of the Assembly is Geraldo Torres. The Assembly is elected on the same ballot as the president, the most recent election being held on March 31, 2021.
