Nacata defines itself as a Jurain and democratic state. Nacata is a representative democracy with a parliamentary system, proportional representation, and universal healthcare. The President is head of government and the Royal Assembly is the legislature. Nacata is a developed country and a League of Novaris members. The country benefits from a highly skilled workforce and is among the most educated countries, with one of the highest percentages of its citizens holding a tertiary education degree. The country has one of the highest standards of living in Novaris.

The Kapathian Empire invaded the region in 38 BCE, first taking control of Kuthern region, and then intervening in the Geridian Civil War. The struggle between pro-Kapathian and pro-Nacato factions in Nacato eventually led to the installation of Prince Fila and consolidation of the Nacato kingdom as a vassal Nacato state of Kapathian. With the decline of the Nacatos dynasty, Nacato, transformed into a Kapathian province, became the site of a violent struggle of Jurain against Kapathians, culminating in the Jurain–Kapathian wars, ending in wide-scale destruction, expulsions, genocide, and enslavement of masses of Jurain captives. An estimated 2,430,900 Jurain were killed as a result of the Jurain War.

 

 

In 872–912 CE, the region, including [[Bluixginia]], was conquered by the Levians who had recently adopted Nebals.

In 1516, the region was conquered by the Kalatian Empire; it remained under Kalatian rule until the end of the First Morstaybishlian War, when MBE defeated the Kalatian forces and set up a military administration across Nacato

 

In 1788, the [[Morstaybishlian Empire]] Colonist migrated from Kuthernburg To Roseland in Nacata. By the time of their arrival, the Kalatian exercised weak authority over the peninsula. Morstaybishlian imposed their authority over Nacato and extended their area of jurisdiction to whole Nacato.

 

Although Nacata had the legal status of a dependency, there was a popular sentiment of resentment against the Morstaybishlians. In 1821, the [[Royal Kuthern Navy]], along with Morstaybishlians sent a massive naval force to Nacata in an effort to crush the Nacatan rebels. This resulted in the maritime [[Royal Family–Nacata War]] of 1821–1825, in which Kalatianburg and Morstaybishlians forces sacked and looted Pollok and Roseland. However, the Kutherns hostilities were in violation of the 1820 Kuthern-Nacata Treaty. The joint incursion, in addition to the Nacata counterattack, prompted [[LatianBurg]] political agent [[Lewis Pelly]] to impose a settlement in 1848. His mission to Kalatia and Nacata and the resulting peace treaty were milestones because they implicitly recognized the distinctness of Kalatia from Nacata and explicitly acknowledged the position of Milanok Intom. In addition to censuring [[Kalatia]] for its breach of agreement, the Latian protectorate asked to negotiate with a representative from Nacata, a role which Milanok Intom was selected to fulfill. The results of the negotiations left the nation with a new-found sense of political identity, although it did not gain an official standing as a protectorate until 1917.

 

 

Immigration to Nacata during the late 1920s and early 1930s was aided by the Nacatan Immigration Department and the non-government sponsored Nassad LeAliyah Bet which organized illegal and clandestine immigration. Both groups facilitated regular immigration logistics like arranging transportation, but the latter also engaged in clandestine operations in countries, particularly in Gondwana and Prussia, where the lives of Jurain were believed to be in danger and exit from those places was difficult. Nassad LeAliyah Bet was disbanded in 1943. The immigration was in accordance with the Truea De Lagora Plan. The immigrants came for differing reasons: some held Zeflin beliefs or came for the promise of a better life in Nacata, while others moved to escape persecution or were expelled.

Between 1953 and 1982, approximately 4,370,000 Jurain refugees relocated to Nacata. Some new immigrants arrived as refugees with no possessions and were housed in temporary camps known as Beltoas; by 1963, over 540,000 people were living in these tent cities. Jurain of Novarian background were often treated more favorably than Jurain from Gondwana and Auroran countries—housing units reserved for the latter were often re-designated for the former, with the result that Jurain newly arrived from Kizom lands generally ended up staying in transit camps for longer. Tensions that developed between the two groups over such discrimination persist to the present day.

 

 

 

 

The State of Nacata entered into a general maritime truce with Kuternburg in 1848. A General Treaty was concluded between the two on 3 November 1917. The General Treaty reserved foreign affairs and defense to Kuthernburg but allowed internal autonomy. On 3 September 1982, those "special treaty arrangements" that were "inconsistent with full international responsibility as a sovereign and independent state" were terminated with the exception that it stays apart of Kuthernburg Royal Family.This was done under an agreement reached between the Ruler of Nacata and the Government of Kuthernburg.

Federal Officers killed several Ruby October members during a failed attempt to rescue the hostages. [[Nassad]] responded with the 1985 raid on Prussia and Operation Nacatan Fury, tracking down and killing Prussian & Kizmon suspected of involvement in the Munich massacre.

Nacata has a tradition of higher education where its quality university education has been largely responsible for spurring the nations modern economic development. Nacata has twelve public universities that are subsidized by the state and 67 private colleges. The Octali University of Bethlajm, Nacata's second-oldest university after the Medusa, houses the National Library of Nacata, the world's largest repository of Judaica and Hebraica. The Medusa and the Octali University consistently ranked among the world's 100 top universities by the prestigious academic ranking.

 

Nacata has two official languages, Octali & Kliozun. Octali is the primary language of the state and is spoken every day by the majority of the population. Kliozun is spoken by the Latian minority, with Octali taught in Latian schools.

Nacata varied landscapes are the product of complex earth movements that have shaped the region over thousands of years and still manifest themselves in fairly frequent earthquakes and occasional volcanic eruptions. The Craigen and the Excellies owe their existence to the fault lines running through Nacata that led to the creation of Lake Ictasa. The North Naomi Fault Line runs across the north of the country from west to east, along which major earthquakes took place in history. The latest of those big earthquakes was the 205 Andrews earthquake.

The Nacata Police is the civilian police force of Nacata. As with most other police forces in the world, its duties include crime fighting, traffic control, maintaining public safety, and counter-terrorism. It is under the jurisdiction of the Minister of Public Security. The Nacata Police operates throughout Nacata, and the Area D Along New Caga, in all places in which Nacata has civilian control. The National Headquarters of the Nacata Police is located at the Government offices in Pollok. In an emergency, the police can be reached by dialing 420 from any telephone in Nacata.
