Etymology

Ancient Evrigenese for "one people", Monachikos was once solely inhabited by those of Evrigenese descent.

Geography

Mountains divide the region between Evrigenis and Merlovich.

Politics

The region is dominated by Merlovichian politics, but there is no denying the degree of Kampfian influence to the west.
