Mateus Nataniel Torres (born August 18, 1949) is an Esteiran Army officer who has been Secretary of National Defense since 1999. He is married to Director General Ariana Torres of the Esteiran National Police and his youngest son is Geraldo Torres, current Speaker of the National People's Assembly of Esteira.
