Lambertus VII has has been a keen [[Bursil F.C.]] enthusiast all of his life, joining their youth squad in 1984 and progressed to the U18 squad in 1990, enjoying a fruitful 2 year spell playing as a midfielder for the club. He appeared 21 times, scoring 10 goals. He retired in 1992 when he became eligible to enlist in the Navy. He regularly visits the club where his job allows him to. His most famous win for the club was against [[Yatal & Jubrayn F.C.]] in 1991, scoring a perfect hat trick.
