Line 61: ==== Golden Age ==== Cascadii started out with almost all the land [[Liesvozia]] had owned prior, except [[Joralesia]] and [[Zemeprievadai]], who declared their independence when the coup succeeded. Cascadii’s golden age came soon after it’s founding. After this age the nation would be in a steady decline for centuries. The Golden Age is only called so because of the amount of land and wealth the nation had, on the inside however things were not great. After King Jodła I’s coronation he forced all species other than humans to flee the nation or die. This led to humans being the only species in the nation, although the provincial government of [[Stražsko]] did not enforce this and kept non-human species under their protection. In the year 1312 the nation went into debt and was forced to rely on other nations for money. This led to the end of the Golden Age and the start of the Age of Change. Cascadii started out as a council of three kings from each of the main three dynasties. These kings could veto each other and all had to agree or abstain in order for anything to pass. This made arguments very common in the council, and sometimes they got very heated. Multiple times in the history of this council one king killed another for not agreeing with his opinion. Beside the constant argument under this council the country saw it's golden years. The nation itself was very peaceful at this time, only making good relations with neighbors and keeping a small army. This abruptly came to an end in 1298 when one of the kings murdered the rest.
