Cascadia was founded by a group of forest nomads that lived around Lake Cascadia on May 23rd, 1267. One day they decided they wanted to stay in one place and start a nation, so they founded a tiny village that became the capital Cascadia. Some other nomads went to the coast, there they founded a port village, which quickly became much bigger than Cascadia. This port village later became Seaport. Every May 23rd, the nation of Cascadia celebrates the founding of their nation, called Founding Day.

The largest river in Cascadia is the Seacadia River that spans from Lake Cascadia to the sea. The highest peak in Cascadia is Treefort Peak standing at 9,271 feet tall. Cascadia has a fairly large sandy coastline. The largest national forest is Cascadia National Forest spanning most of the nation.
