She was born in [[Aura]], [[Emberwood Coast]], on 15 October 1960 to Alexandrina Stone (née Malcolm) and Julian Stone from [[Rosalica]] and [[Asilica]] respectively. Her mother was a carpenter and her father was a nurse. They remained married for 8 years and divorced when she was 7 years old. For much of her life, she lived with her father. She attended Foxborough Elementary School from 1965 to 1970, then Palmouth Middle School from 1970 to 1974 followed by Caster Ilvermore High School from 1974 to 1978. For most her childhood, she was considered astute and hardworking, but she often got into fights with other girls and was often vilified for being "different". From 1978 to 1979, she did a post-secondary course to gain her International School Leaving Certificate under [[Shiro Academy]].

She was admitted to the University of Aura in 1980 and completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1984. She started a Master of Laws degree at the same university in 1985. In 1986, she started a Doctor of Laws degree at the University of Rockport which she completed in 1989. In 1990, she started her articles of clerkship at Blythe Chambers. In 1992, she wrote the Emberitian Bar Association examinations and was admitted as an advocate (barrister). Starting in 1992, she was admitted as an Advocate of the Rylidian District Local Court. In 1997, she got her Silks and was admitted as an advocate of the High Magistrate. She continued working as an advocate at the High Magistrate until 2008.
