Kate was among the founders of the [[National Academy of Country Music]] and advocate of the [[Phoenixian Council of Arts]] (PCOA), and a co-founder of the Afragolan IndRecords (AIR), of which she served as the first president.
 
Due to health issues, Kate couldparticipated only participate into fourseventeen editions of the [[Grand Prix of Music]] between 1972 and 19751988, winning with the song "Io e Lui" in 1973. Kate passed awayand in 19981981 inwith her"Amore housea atprima [[Afragola]] at the age of 68vista".
 
Kate passed away in 1998 in her house at [[Afragola]] at the age of 68.
 
"The green pearl" and "Are we immortal?" are the last songs of the singer-songwriter, published posthumously respectively in 1999 and 2000.
