The fauna of Morstaybishlia has many endemic species found nowhere else on Urth. Morstaybishlia shares a great deal of its fauna with the rest of the Auroran continent. An estimated 360 species of mammals characterize the fauna of the continental MBE. There are more than 600 species of bird and more than 65,000 species of insects. There are 272 known reptiles, 222 amphibians and 953 known fish species.

Justelvard comprises a much smaller land area within the MBE, yet supports nearly an equal percentage of biodiversity, and constitutes nearly 5 percent of the recognised world vertebrates; ranging from an estimated 3 percent of the world's lizards and mammals to about 8 percent of the world's fish species.

There are animals that exist in all of the continental Morstaybishlia; some of which includes the [[Wikipedia:Eurasian sparrowhawk|Yastaurian sparrowhawk]], the [[Wikipedia:Common kestrel|common kestrel]], the [[Wikipedia:Stoat|Auroran stoat]], [[Wikipedia:European rabbit|Auroran rabbit]], [[Wikipedia:Wild boar|wild boar]], [[Wikipedia:Black rat|black rat]], [[Wikipedia:Pantherophis obsoletus|black rat snake]], [[Wikipedia:European common frog|Auroran common frog]] and [[Wikipedia:Steatoda nobilis|noble false widow]]. However, generally it is split similarly to the flora regions; that is the Morstia, Abergwerin, Valerian, Jubrione and Marislian regions.

Huge parts of the country with the most distinctive indigenous wildlife are protected as national parks. In 2020, the MBE had more than 4910 national parks or protected areas, all together more than 1,523,210 km². The first national park was the Jubrione National Park in Jubrionas Province, recognised and established by Royal Charter in 1799. Jubrione National Park is widely considered to be the finest [[Wikipedia:Megafauna|megafauna]] wildlife habitat in the MBE. There are 64 species of mammal in the park, including the [[Wikipedia:American cheetah|Auroran cheetah]], [[Wikipedia:North American jaguar|Auroran jaguar]] and the threatened [[Wikipedia:Brown bear|brown bear]].
