The GSRI is an organ of the Council of Gondwana, founded in 2022 for the purposes of conducting research and advising COG on scientific policy. It is administered by the Administrator of the GSRI, and its headquarters is located in Greater Aslough, Aivintis, along with COG headquarters.

Function

The GSRI has a number of functions:

  • Conduct research in a variety of scientific fields
  • Advise the COG on scientific policy
  • Encourage scientific research and literacy
  • Regulate and promote international scientific cooperation

Organization

The Administrator is the chief officer of the GSRI. They help formulate and administer policies and oversee day to day running of the GSRI. The Administrator is voted on by the GSRI council, and any nation can propose one person to be the administrator. The current Administrator of the GSRI is Piran Yanyer, from Auravas.

The main decision making body is the GSRI council, made up of one representative of each member nation in the GSRI. The council also has the power to impeach the Administrator if it reaches as supermajority. The chairperson of the GSRI council is the representative of ______.

Finances

Each nation contributes money to the GSRI fund. The Administrator and a team of senior officers from each department draft a budget which is proposed to and voted on by the GSRI council.
