Gamlevinland-Taiyō relations go back to 1920 after the Gamlevinland Civil War, when an alliance was formed between the two states. The alliance was formed because the absolute monarchy that took over Gamlevinland was similar to the dictatorship in Taiyō.
In the modern day Gamlevinland and Taiyō maintain the alliance. The two nations also have permanent embassies to prove the strength of their alliance, an open border agreement to let their people roam freely, and cultural and trade agreements.
