Federated Komina of Central Irnac
The Federated Komina of Central Irnac (Ernokish: Інтерернокський Федерація Комун), also translated as the Federated Communes of Central Irnac was a de jure sovereign state on the island of Irnac that lasted for two years between 10 October 1961 and 21 December 1963. The state was established by the People's State of Grostyn with the backing of the Durakan government as a union between Grostyn and the former territories of Aradya and Western Kodoka annexed during the War of Ernokish Unification.

In 1957, the People's State of Grostyn declared war against the other remaining independent states within Central Irnac in order to remove the influence of the Volscine Confederation. Grostyn would receive material support and an influx of volunteers from Durakia, and the war would evolve into a proxy conflict within the wider Novaran Cold War. Following the surrender of Western Kodoka in September 1961, all parties involved would sign the Treaty of Kodhorod, recognizing the annexation and establishing the Federated Komina of Central Irnac.
Throughout the state's existence, a majority of power would consolidate under the Ernokish Worker's Army - with those in military positions having been treated with more authority than the constitutionally appointed leadership. Transport networks between it and Durakia would be established, and an elite class of advisors sent from Durakia would begin to form. Taking up a number of key positions in the Ernokish Worker's Army, these officers would push for unification based upon reamergent irredentist interpretations of the Ziniev Mandate. Despite considerable resistance from those who advocated for the Federated Komina as a sovereign entity, the government would quickly buckle to the pressure and the National Sovrata would eventually vote to begin a transition of the state into its larger neighbour.
