In 2019 a political realignment was accompanied by a democratically flag redesign that saw a departure from the lotus symbol and an embrace of [[History of Emberwood Coast|triple bar]] imagery as [[Wikipedia:Syndicalism|syndicalist]] groups retook government for the first time in two decades. The current design is credited to Cilantro Ilermayill, a professor at Kaleidoscope University. A public vote amongst the school nominated it to a second round for a general vote, where it won with 41% of the overall vote. A final runoff of this and the runner up flag saw it selected with 69% of the total vote. It was officially inducted as part of the "Federal Redevelopment Act" in a ceremony at Memorial Park on December 15th, 2019.
