Founded in December 2022 and formally known as ''luBawaab luShahitishme aluHimayfiyishme aluMulak'', the Imperial Department of Public Safety is responsible for overseeing law enforcement and correctional services. This function was previously reserved for the Department of Justice. The Department of Public Safety controls Imperial funding for law enforcement and correctional services and develops the frameworks that guide law enforcement and correctional services in the country. Furthermore, it coordinates the sharing of resources and information and enforcement of warrants across provincial lines. It faciliates cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies on public safety issues.
