Cappedore has participated in the Urthvision Songfestival once in the past, making its debut to the contest in October 2021 at Urthvision XVI, with alternative rock band Keynes as its contestant with their 2021 song "Everybody's Changing." From 2022 to 2023, Cappedore did not participate in the festival. Along with this, in 2022, Cappedore's debut contestants Keynes announced they were going on hiatus, despite their initial success in Urthvision XVI.
In March 2023, it was confirmed that Cappedore would be making a return in Urthvision XIX, with nationally-loved symphonic metal band Imaginaerum as its contestant with their 2010 song "Storytime".
