Aynura is a 2001 Hikari animated film produced by the State-owned Hikari State Broadcasting Pictures. Based upon the folk hero Aynur, the film is a reimagining of the story, taking place in an indeterminate era, with Aynur portrayed as a Communist figure fighting against the forces of Suvania, despite neither Communist theory nor Suvania as a state existing during the Orda and Horde Period she supposedly resided in. The story of the film describes Aynur as a daughter of a Suvan official, Temurlen Ordai, who led an army of Suvan defectors dressed up as women after a male force was denied by right-wing members of the Broad Resistance.
