Alane Géarsi Cáiréas (Fefsen: 
; /əˈliːn ˈgeɪrʃiː ˈkɑːrʲeːəs/; Born September 23, 1994) is a Mirhamian politician politician who is currently serving the Leáidh of the Mirhaimian Realm, and Leáidhan of the Comlathas. A member of the Ansan Coalition, Cáiréas previously served as a council member of the Soldiers' Guild during her time in university before being elected into the Mirhaimian Séidicar as its representative for two terms before being elected as Leáidh.
The eldest daughter, and second eldest child of the previous Leáidh, Anrah Cáiréas, she was born in the Governorate of Uso, in the Grand Dominion of Aerghail where she concluded her primary education before enlisting in the Realm Armada as a Marine. Deployed to Sayyed as part of Task Force Scheherazade, she remained there for two years before being honorably discharged. Thereafter, she enrolled in the Ymirodraeic School of Law where she also joined the Soldiers' Guild as an activist, and soon, a council member. During the fourth, and final year of her education, she was elected as one of the Guild's representatives in the Séidicar alongside Seárlas Athairne who later went on to serve as her Ascendancy's Lord President.
Taking office at only age 27, Alane Cáiréas is the second youngest Leáidh in Mirhaimian history, and the first to hail from the Governorate of Uso. In early 2023, she oversaw the passing of the Trinteria Construction Act which addressed long-neglected infrastructure needs, and the funding of social initiatives and healthcare reforms. She also signed the Sciences Development and Fabrication Act (otherwise known as the Athairne Act) for investment into Mirhaime's high-tech manufacturing sectors, and the extraction of rare earth minerals.
In response to a joint Askarabani - Crimpatein invasion of Sayyed, Alane Cáiréas upheld Mirhaime's defence pact with Sayyed and declared war on the two countries, culminating on a victory in August of 2023. In addition, she also oversaw the deployment of Armada Marines in Aldaar to support the Aldaari Defence Forces during the Aldaari Spring.
Early life
Alane Géarsi Cáiréas was born on September 23, 1994 in Uso, Aerghail as the eldest daughter and second eldest child of Anrah Uítrá Cáiréas and Aedan Seósar Níomsaí. Assuming her mother's surname, she became a member of clan Cáiréas, and became second in line for the title of heir apparent to the clan's hierarch status, superseded by her older brother, Damhán Searca Cáiréas who granted her the status following his resignation in August, 2023.
