The Holy City of Akas Akil is located in the Ashura Province of Packilvania. It is the seat of the Provincial government of Ashura. It also also known as one of the three holiest sites in Paxism. It is the site of the Memorial of the Jovian Gate, the holiest site of Paxism. It attracts many tourists due to pilgrimage to religious monuments and other historical sites contained within the city. As a Holy City (the other being Adrien), non-Paxists are forbidden from entering the city except for the diplomatic district where consulates are located.
The city is characterised by a desert climate and is surrounded by the Packilvanian desert. Due to the accumulation of large aquafirs, the city surrounds an oasis. However due to industrialisation, the water resources of the Akas Akil Oasis have proved inadequate to meet modern demands thus water must be piped in from other parts of the province. The city has a population of 4,230,100 people and its the 10th most populated city in Packilvania.
