The Packilvanian Agriculture Bank is a government owned for profit baking corporation that founded by the eponymous law in 1987. It consolidated the land banks that existed at the time. Its purpose was to provide affordable credit for farmers and agribusinesses and hedge against the risks of droughts, floods and pestilence that affected the farming sector. This was done for the purposes of ensuring food security. It also provides other services to farmers such as financial advisory, commercial banking services, and so on. Its mandate expanded to included other clients involved in food production such as logistics etc. Its CEO is Thamash Hivir and it manages assets worth 1.56 trillion SHD and generates revenues of 276 billion SHD.
