The Aescerian Empire (Lingua Aesceria: Imperia Aesceria) is an absolute monarchy in Western Gondwana.
Being an absolute monarchy, the monarch is the head of state and government, which means that, regardless of who is on the throne, they have a say over everything. While there are advisors to the Emperor/ess, they don't have a final say. This has caused a lot of uprisings, however, it never changed the ways of the Aescerae.
