The Accademia Imperiale, otherwise known as the Imperial Academy or just the Academy, is a public research university in Celano, Seccera. The Academy was preceded by several separate organizations and guilds focused on education until it was incorporated into one organization and was granted a charter by the Celanoran emperor in 1071. It is the world's oldest university that continues to operate.
The Academy has educated several notable alumni, including heads of state and government.
