The 2021 Progress Party leadership election was called when a challenge to Riannar Karmer as Leader of the Progress Party arose following criticism of his plans for a Marislian independence referendum[1].
The result was announced on 23 September 2021. Riannar Karmer won the election with 1,790,807 votes.
