Presidential elections were held in Esteira on March 31, 2021. There was only one candidate, incumbent president Luis Souza, with voters asked to approve or reject his candidacy. As Souza leads an authoritarian regime over Esteira, the elections were largely considered for show to give the appearance of popular support for Souza.
Souza won the election with 100% of the vote, with 2.48% of the ballots blank or invalid. Souza was sworn in at the Presidential Palace for his seventh term as president on May 1, 2021.
