'''Wendel Feld Peters Jr.''' (born January 24th, 1940) is a Nisser politician who is the 28th and current president of [[Nisserige]]. A member of the [[Green Party (Nisserige)|Green Party]], Peters previously served as an MP and represented the province of Beitelberg in Parliament between 2009 to 2017.

Born in Beitelberg, Bäuer, Peters moved with his family to Duben following his graduation from the University of Beitelberg. In Duben, Peters attended the College of Law at the University of Duben and graduated with a law degree. He first began his political career in 1975, where he was elected as a member of the Local Bundepost Mail Committee, an office that he would hold until the end of his term in 1978. In 1987, Peters would be hired to work in the Nisserige Board of Foreign Relations. In 1993, Peters would resign from his position in order to pursue politics once again, and in December of the same year Peters was elected as a member of the Beitelberg Council, where he represented the city of Beitelberg in the Bäuer Lower Parliament. While serving for the Beitelberg Council, Peters began to gain popularity among the Green Party and the Labor Party for his support of the Business Pollution Act, which sought to place heavier restrictions on businesses regarding environmental issues. In 2009, Peters would run and win the election for the position of MP representing the province of Beitelberg for the Green Party. In Parliament, Peters was often described as "eccentric" and "jolly" by his peers. In the 2017 National Election of Nisserige, the Green Party gained a majority of MPs and elected Peters to be the Chancellor. In January of 2023, Peters would be reelected by Parliament for another term as Chancellor until 2028.
