Immediately following the report, parliament gave a vote of no confidence motioned by Leader of the Opposition Carla Schmidt, delivering an overwhelming 397 super-majority in the 416 seat house. 13 members of the Conservative party voted against and 6 abstained. Parliament dissolved with a month for elections.
