Policies and motions are named under the same format. They are known under the same code from their first raising to the Council until they are made into a bill. The first two letters identify the source of the policy. SC is used for the Socialist Council and DC for the Red Defence Council. Bills which succeed the Defence Council retain their DC identifier when voted for in the Socialist Council. The second section is the date on which the policy was first proposed in a (DDMMYYYY) format. The final section is an incrementing number of the day's motions. If three motions have already been submitted on the same day, then the fourth will end in "-04".
