The event began on 26 November 2017. Although the event was aimed at nations of the continent of Aurora, representatives from other nations asked and were allowed to attend. At the time, the purpose of the event was to encourage peace across the Urth. Given that the Auroran-Pacific War affected the entire world to varying degrees, the organisers felt that it was appropriate for all nations to attend. Some nations expressed their misgivings about the event.
