There are 2 million people in the Greater Tokapa Area and 900,000 people in its core. While these numbers are not high by international standards, this has led to a high population density of 4,500 people per square kilometre on average. In keeping with most of the country, the most spoken language is the Oan language (Te Reo Oa). Because of the high tourism, international business and foreign students, Staynish is universally understood. The city also has the highest rates foreign migrants especially form other Polynesian and Auroran countries. The city is a center of [[Mauism]] with some of the most famous shrines located here - as such Mauism in the largest religion, yet other religions especially [[Thaerism]] are widely practiced. Due to the presence of the largest and most prestigious universities in the country such as the [[University of Tokapa]] and National University of the Oan Isles, the city has a disproportionately high rate of highly educated people. Tokapa is one of the safest cities in the country and is regarded as one of the best places to live in Aurora.
