Tivot: Difference between revisions

The Politics of Tivot take place in the framework of a Republic, wherein the Chief Executive Statesperson, or Chief Executive for short, is the Head of Government and Head of State. Tivotian representation is broken up into twelve subdivisions, two of which being Per and Triklov Port, with the rest being Tarov itself. There are four branches of government, the Executive, Legislative, Judicial, and Commercial, with a checks and balances system implemented to separate power amongst the four branches equally.

The current Chief Executive, [[Boris Loctov]], is directly elected by the Legislative branch and general populous, with an approval vote by the Judicial and Commercial branches in a four year cycle. The legislature is bicameral in organization, with the upper house called the Perevilla and the lower house Villa Internum. Both houses are elected directly by the general populous every two years.
