The Kingdom of Tavaris, known colloquially as Tavaris, is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy located on Urth. It is a member of the Tavari Union and the Union of Commonwealth Alliances, a founding member and co-chair of the Council of Gondwana, and an Associated State of the League of Novaris. Tavaris was a founding member of the International Forum and served on the International Forum Security Council in the Spring 2021 and Spring 2022 sessions.

On 27 February 2022, a referendum was held in which three provinces and two territories of Tavaris voted to secede from the country and form the People's Communion of Acronis, an Akronist state led by the Church of Akrona. The referendum was plagued by several bombings and other instances of violence, as well as technical issues at polling places that caused the results to be disputed. After a brief period of civil unrest and inter-sectarian violence, a comprehensive peace agreement and political settlement known as the Ranat Accords formalized the secession and formation of Acronis, Elatana, and Rodoka and the Isles, and transferred responsibility for the former Tavari territories of Metrati Anar and the Tavari East Cerenerian Isles to the Tavari Union, an international organization of Tavari-speaking countries also established by the Accords. The Tavari Union also assumed control over each member's Exclusive Economic Zones, airspace, territorial waters, and other assets held in common among the membership—including the Tavari Našdat currency and "intangible common assets" such as the Tavari language. In recognition of Tavaris as the homeland of the Tavari language and culture, the King of Tavaris is the Emperor of the Tavari, who holds the ceremonial position of Chair of the Council of the Tavari Union.
