The '''Tartaruga''' is the main battle tank of the [[Fortunan Army]] designed and produced by [[Terine Industries]]. As part of an effort to further modernize the military following the War of Aggression, the tank first say development in 1980, entering production by 1985 as the V.1 Tartaruga. The vehicle would go through further upgrades entering into the 2000s with the V.2 Tartaruga with improvements to the main armament, propulsion, fire control system, and sensors. The Tartaruga continues to see use by the Fortunan Army, with the intended purpose to fully replace the V.1 with the V.2.
