SYFP made its first major acquisition when it purchased the assets of the Tilden Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) from a bankruptcy auction. TBC produced local news and entertainment through an affiliate network that used the TBC branding. SYFP decided to use this to its advantage to make a regional news network. By using TBC's existing broadcast technology, studios, and affiliate network it launched Southeast Yasteria News Network (SYNN). When the network launched, the company decided to reform itself into a holding company and decided to call itself The Sey News Companies or simply Sey News for short. SYFP was then renamed Ynseyes News (YPKN) to better reflect itself as a national newspaper for the newly formed Free Pax States.

Sey Broadcasting for local news, local entertainment and international news. Sey Press Digital for news in print and digital.
The company is split into five divisions: National, North, Central, South, and Affiliate. National division companies are the backbones of the holding company. When Sey News makes an acquisition it places it under a National Division company. SYNN manages local news stations owned by Sey News. TBC manages entertainment and production, YPKN manages print and digital assets. The affiliate division is managed by the legal department as it deals with licensing and partnerships.
