The Sayqidi Festival of Melodies (Atasiyaqidu: alMahrajan man Ezelahn), sometimes abbreviated as SFM, is a national songwriting competition organized by the National Television of the Emirate (NTE), featuring participants from all over Sayyed and its sheikhdoms. Each participant submits an original song to be performed on live television, and after the songs have been performed, votes will be casted to determine the winner. As of 2022 edition, the competition has been used as a national final to determine Sayyed's representative at the Urthvision Songfestival.
In 2023, the 2022 Winner of the contest, Nailah Shehata, won the eighteenth edition of the Urthvision Songfestival.
The contest was held annually except in 2014 when the contest was cancelled due to a sandstorm that lasted several weeks as well as a renovation of the theater.
