[[Nation/The Oan Isles|Oan GondwanaLapimuhyo]] lies directly north of Lusia in the north, and Sudina, the southern portion of Rijelv, is not bordered by any other countries, although Celannican and Setznan territories are close in proximity to it. With a total land area of 496,300 sq km and a population of over 70 million of various nationalities, Rijelv is one of the largest nations in southern Gondwana. Historically a loose gathering of city states, Rijelv was founded through the efforts of revolutionary nationalists approximately 300 years ago. The Empire was founded after the Kingdom of Hoosina, the dominant military power in the region, and the Northern Trade League, the dominant economic power, formed an alliance that slowly grew into one empire. Spanning much of southwestern Gondwana, Rijelv fractured into multiple nations, with only the northern and southern portions of the empire remaining. Recent efforts by the current monarch to reunite the "Lost States," as they are referred to, have resulted in growing nationalism.
