The '''Provisional Government''' (abbreviated to the '''PG''', commonly known as the '''Government of the Wealdenite Republic''', '''Wealdenite Provisional Government''' or '''WR Goverment''') iswas the temporary central executive authority of the [[Wealden|Wealdenite Republic]]. The provisional government is led by the first minister (currently Cathryn Gargano, since 15 May 2023) who selects all the other ministers. The government was formed after the [[2023 Cappedorite coup d'état]], which saw the previous government of [[Cappedore]] replaced.

The government doesdid not currently make or produce new legislation, is fairly new, and iswas intended, as stated by Gargano, to only be a temporary measure while an assembly worksworked on drafting and processing a new [[Concordat of the Wealdenite Republic|concordat]]. The provisional government is said to only be a "temporary measure", with plans to complete the apparatus for a new Wealdenite government to be complete by June 2023.
