The Packilvanian Development Index (PDI; Packilvanian: Lumayargur luBakhilfaniya aluTaweer, LuMABATA) is an index for measuring the development of a country. There are many metrics and Indices available to measure the level of development in a country. When the Bedonite dynasty took over Packilvania, they redefined the political and economic structure of the country and set up new goals for economic, social and political development. Intellectual thought emerged around the philosophies pioneered by the first monarch, Sultan Amhoud I, up to the present administration under his grandson, Sultan Namdun III. This school of thought was called Amhoudic economics and its early leaders such as Prof Isokhar Amaadiyen of the University of Abdeker compiled the PDI.
