The islands have been inhabited for thousands of years and form part of the division between the [[Packilvanian Ocean]] to the west and the [[Morstaybishlian Sea]] to the east. The most well known islands are Jerysan, Fricticia, Lucina, Brihar, St. Grevis, St. Angelona and Dynn. At low tide, Brihar and Dynn are connected by a low lying sand bank. Fricticia, the largest northernmost island and all of the surrounding Northern Isles are property of the [[Succession to the Morstaybishlian Throne|Crown]] and are usually closed to tourists all year around to preserve the native avian species.
