Metatron is a publicly-traded for-profit limited liability company from the Oan Isles that manufactures integrated circuits. It was founded in 1985 by a multinational team of scientists who met through their post-graduate studies at the University of Tokapa: Atawhai Taumata (from the Oan Isles), Darryl McKinsey (from South Hills), Basiloy Modvenovich (from Tuvaltastan), and Casey Burnham (from Great Morstaybishlia) in Tokapa, where its head office remains. Its largest shareholder is the Metatron Holding Company which is also its parent organization and it is located in Tarov, Tivot. The current CEO is Bing Sion (from Emberwood Coast). Metatron acquired Barque Lithography (a company from Axdel) in 2008 and Fort Jubrayn Optics (from Staynes) in 2012. It is one of the largest and most valuable companies originating from the Oan Isles.

History
Line 41:
Services and products
Metatron produces integrated circuits for fabless companies. This means that it produces integrated circuits based on the design specifications of its clients. Furthermore, it produces generic integrated circuits for general purpose usage. Additionally, it produces semiconductor wafers that other companies use to produce integrated circuits of their own.
Clients
Metatron is arguably one of the largest chip makers in the world by volume of chips produced and revenues generated. The high quality of its products and the networks of clients it has created have made it highly attractive. It produces microchips for the big three technology companies: Cluster (from Northrenpynt, Aponivia), Damehowe and Primrose (from Staynes, Great Morstaybishlia). It also produces microchips for Hejeld AB and Tarva Defense Systems (from Cryria), Velox Motors and Volktel (from Volkia), Audelli Group (from Great Morstaybishlia), Janus (from Asilica), ICM (from Tretrid), and KAE Systems plc (from Kuthernburg).

Criticisms
Metatron was criticized by sapient rights and environmental conservation groups for importing raw materials such as silicates from Packilvania which has notoriously poor working conditions and environmental protections. The company dispelled the criticisms by commissioning an investigation into the practices of its suppliers. Through the investigation it found that 12 out of 17 met a set of basic standards. It removed 5 of the suppliers and continues to send inspection teams to the sites to ensure that sapient and environmental rights are being respected. Furthermore, it signed the Fair Work Declaration which was a declaration by international companies to ensure that their supply chains respected workers.
Accolades
The company was recognised by the Oan Academy of Science as a national champion of the Oan Isles for scientific innovation through its research and development operations. Its scientists have contributed to discoveries in conductivity, thermodynamics, electromagnetics and other scientific areas. For instance, Constance Makepunu, engineer in the materials research unit og Metatron Foundaries, won the National Science Medal for contributions to silicon substrates research.

The company has been cited by Oan News as one of the best places to work in the Oan Isles due to their generous salaries, worker protection schemes and working environments.
