Maui Uye-Ahua is a statesman and politician from The Oan Isles who serves as the incumbent Prime Minister of the Oan Isles since 2017. He has previously served as the Chief Minister of Konoa and as the leader of the Konoan People'sPacifist Party of the Oan Isles.

During the 2017 general elections, neither the LiberalGreen Party of the Oan Isles nor the ProgressivePacifist Party were able to win enough seats to form a government. He was nominated as a compromise candidate. He negotiated a supply and confidence agreement between the two parties and was eventually elected to the position of Prime Minister by the National Assembly. The Emperor of Polynesia confirmed his election.

He was lauded for the diverse parties that were represented in his Cabinet. He has primarily governed by building consensus. Unfortunately, he has been criticised for being slow and indecisive.
