The Marislian region, often shortened to Marislia (Kaltariz: Ar Marisvec, shortform Marisva; Ethalrian: Marislische) is a historical country and cultural area in the southeast of modern Kaltariezh, Great Morstaybishlia, integrated after the Auroran Imperial War. The region voted for independence on 31 December 2021 in a highly controversial referendum. Apart of the Bishec civilisation emerging out of the continent following the Great Vanishing, it became a kingdom in the early 2nd century CE, thriving on trade in and out of the Aberbish. It competed for land with the emerging Kaltariezh and Ethalrian empires, eventually being absorbed by the latter in the 14th century. Its contemporary era began in 1703, when it formed apart of the wider Kingdom of Terghintia whom gained independence from the Grand Matriarchy of Ethalria in the Ethalrian Succession War. The Marislian region was conquered by Ethalria again in the Great War, where its people, notably the Marish people, but also Terghintians and Kaltariz, were subject to the Marislian genocide that lasted most of the 1920s. Marislia became apart of Kaltariezh following annexation in the Auroran Imperial War and has had representation in Kalmington since.

Marislia varies in climate. Tropical savannah makes up the majority in the north, whilst a semi-arid zone seperates it from the arid desert in the south. Marislia is populated by 36.97 million people, who's largest species group are humans, followed by cava and then elf. Terghyntek, Kaltariz and Ethalrian are its four official languages.
