The Lokanian Air Force is the aerial warfare service branch which employs 44,000 people. The Air Force has 625 aircraft; of which includes fighter and reconnaissance aircraft, airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft, aerial refueling tanker aircraft, military transport aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and atellites. The air force has 8 major airfields and bases as well as smaller airfields for storage.
The Sukhoi Su-30MKI is the main twinjet multirole air superiority fighter used by Lokania. It has 20 in active service. One unit costs $50 million.
