Line 1: The [[president of Esteira]] is both the {{wp\|head of state}} and {{wp\|head of government}} of the [[Esteira\|Republic of Esteira]]. The position was established after the Treaty of the Republic was signed in 1921, and is directly elected every five years. Term limits for president were established in 1963, however they were abolished in 1999 by [[Luis Souza]].
