Great Morstaybishlia has a population of 453,859,472 in 2017 (3rd), with a population of 76.7 people per square kilometre or 198.7 people per square mile. This is a list of official cities in Great Morstaybishlia as of 2017. The first cities in Aurora started in places around Great Morstaybishlia. It is believed these cities existed below the Jubrione and above the Staynish Sea before it separated into lakes which evaporated over time. Record of ancient stone structures exist in sparsity because these settlements are believed to have been usually made out of ephemeral structures like wood and clay.

There are only two cities from antiquity (before the 5th century) in Great Morstaybishlia. Huveter and Exkhayn. Most cities that have survived until modern day came from the middle ages (between the late 5th century and 15th century). Famous examples include Sani Bursil and AeternumDamezkador amongst others. There were no new cities between the 1640s and the 1770s, but Morstaybishlia experienced an accelerated process of economic change that transformed a largely agrarian economy into one of the world's first industrial economies between the 1780s and the 1830s. following the Industrial Revolution and the accompanying population boom and growth in urbanisation, larger towns that experienced this the most were granted city status by royal charter and became the first cities of the new era, most notably Kirdintayos (est. 1842) and Aurus (est. 1847). The most recent area granted city status was Grunwane in 2016 to mark the Silver Jubilee of Lambertus VII.
