There have been 101 monarchs related to the Salovian Monarch and it's predecessor states, from its first recorded (and verified) monarch in 621 BCE in the [[Kingdom of Suvol]] to the end of the monarchy in 1792 upon the execution of King Rorin. For 2,413 years, with a number of periods of interruption in the rule, the monarchy was ruled by [[Wikipedia:Primogeniture#Male-preference primogeniture|male-preference primogeniture]] until 1792, when the reigning monarch Rorin "the Terror" IV was beheaded, and the [[Salovia#Era of UncertaintyUnrest and the Posolic Wars|Era of UncertaintyUnrest]] began, the nation being replaced with the Grand Republic of Salovia by 1811.
