There have been 104103 monarchs since the beginning of the [[Ethalria (Grand Matriarchy)|Grand Matriarchy of Ethalria]] (as Ethalried), from 119 BCE until its dissolution on 10 May 1975. For 1271 years, the monarchy was ruled by [[Wikipedia:Primogeniture#Male-preference primogeniture|male-preference primogeniture]] until 1152 where [[Wikipedia:Matrilineal succession|Matrilineal succession]] was established.
 
Until the demise of the last Elf royal family in Ethalria in the late 9th century, the royal families who inherited the throne were both Human and [http://nswiki.org/index.php?title=Uspria#Usprian_Elves Usprian elves]. Altogether, there were 14 Elven monarchs.
