The Kurchev-1 was the first large Iphelklorian ballistic missile. A short-range ballistic missile (SRBM), was used during the 1960 Victograd Border Conflict to strike Karishian targets. It was also used in 1963 against West Ruislipian rebels during the October Revolution. In its later years, it was primarily demilitarized and was used for satellite launch projects. It was fully phased out and scrapped in 1965, being replaced by Kurchev-2.
