Its territory comprises of the Kuran mainland, Archive Island, Kroakusz Island, Kestrel Island, and the East and West Laurus Islands. Kurandia has a population of 4.34 million, and its capital and largest city is Corren Tree (Kórintri), where a quarter of its citizens live. Kurandia is a former [[Great Morstaybishlia\|Morstaybishlian]] colony; following the locally unpopular [[Auroran Imperial War]], the Constitutionalist Faction won the 1976 and 1981 elections, and successfully petitioned for independence. Kurandia still maintains close ties with Morstaybishlia, but they are rarely formal.
